I have the camera zip tied to the grill right above the distance sensor..
Gonna try a few places before I commit.
Another post has an interesting spot right above the air dam..
The camera I have has two mounting options & a tiny hole saw.
    "Tacoma3rdGen" posted his location.

Yea I saw his mounting location. Was thinking of one a little higher up. Once you get it permanently mounted up how about showing us a pic if you don't mind.

I might make an aluminum mounting plate & use the tiny hole saw.
My OCD must subside first. Hahahahaha

Such a polite taco. Filled up 19 gallons. 21 gallon tank. Safety net should be about 20 gallons from seeing this.

“Where/how did you get through the firewall?”

Aluminum brake line with a 45 cut at the end. Poke it thru the weatherpack, slip the wire thru it then slide the brake line off.

Thanks. Aluminum brake line works great. Any rigid tubing would do.

i got a little bad weather down time today so I Fab'd and installed a 5/16" steel skid plate for my Toyota tow hitch. I'm not wanting to replace the rear bumper till someone makes a nice high clearance unit with BSM that works. I really like the safety aspect of the BSM and I'm not giving it up.
So I create a skid plate and welded it to my hitch to help slip over obstacles instead of digging in.

I completely understand. I have the same issues. That's why I want some good ideas before I even begin the process. :D
