Hi guys I got a quote for the following:

2” Front Spacers (RevTek), diff drop and EGCS Bushing

    1” Tapered rear blocks

Fully Installed and aligned for $929 all in....

It’s actually the lowest quote I have had including the EGCS bushing ..

    Thoughts?

ECGS install labour will probably run around $300. Figure another $60-70 for the parts and oil.

Installing spacers is probably a half hour per side, so around $100 total. Installing rear blocks is also around a half hour per side, plus cost of new u-bolts, so figure around $140 total. Alignment is another $100. Add in cost of spacers and blocks, say another $200.

    Sounds about right.

Oh, and don't install the diff drop; it'll do more harm than good. Search this forum for "diff drop" if you want to know more.

The price is fair...I’m sure you want them to be motivated to do a good job.

You don't need to drop the diff.

Just to give you some info, i’m considering a lift (just for the looks and convenience, no serious off roading) and priced out generic 2.5” front spacers for about $39 (30 day warranty) and 2” add-a-leaf rear spring lift with shims for $70 (lifetime warranty) I know they’re super cheap but i’m willing to risk it for these type of parts** I’m guessing installation with basic hand tools will prob take me and a buddy less than a case of beer.......3 hours maybe? Diff drop is $25 online and i’m not sure about the bushing. $100-ish bucks for an alignment? You can prob Google install times on their websites and figure it out.
**I’m also considering wheel spacers and although they can be bought for super cheap as well, i’m not willing to risk buying them

I hear you. I’ve been there. I’m not looking for a long travel $3k suspension but I do want peice of mind as I’ll be hauling my family around in this truck.

As mentioned above I’ll pay for quality parts and install. I’d just want to be sure $900ish is fair.

I might go with bilstein 5100 up front instead and skip the diff drop and EGCS bearing then just do a 1” rear block. It’s about the same price from the shop
