    Hey guys,

I’m looking to get some new rubber and i have been leaning towards the Ridge Grapplers for some time but the BFG KM3s have recently caught my eye.. the look sweet!! But how do they preform on the road compared to the RG?? I know they are a mud tire but they almost look like a hybrid. How noisy are they on the HWY?

I don’t need a mud tire but if i can get one that’s not noisy and good for daily driving I’d do it!! (I guess that’s what the Hybrid tires are for)

Another tire I’m looking at is the STT pro.. Cooper classifies it as an ‘all season’ but it’s a mud tire right?? And it looks like it’ll be noisier than the others. But I’ve heard really good things about them.. is it a hybrid??

Anyone care to chime in with their experiences with these??

    Thanks

Those STT pros look sweet!! And I’ve heard really good things about them !! I really want a set but have no need for a MT..

I don’t think the KM3s have been out long enough for anyone real to judge..

But all things equal I’d probably get the STTs unless the KM3 were dramatically quieter on the road.. (opinion based solely on my Youtube University PHD)

I’m running 315/75-16 km3 on a Dodge Sweptline pickup. They have 8oz each of dynabeads without any outside weights. They are surprisingly quiet. I haven’t run the other options that have been listed but would definitely recommend the km3s based on tread noise.
