2014 JBL Entune with SIRIUS Shark Fin Antenna....Question

2014 Black Tacoma DCLB

Stock as of now

I just took my tacoma through the car wash and my aftermarket antenna got ripped off -- MY FAULT. I tried to get the piece out with every option that I could find(drilling etc no luck). Next up is replacing the entire antenna unit.

My Tacoma does have the Shark Fin on the roof - can I just take out the radio and unplug the Regular antenna and just use the shark fin? Is the Shark Fin Antenna just for XM?

Thoughts - am I crazy and just replace the busted Antenna Unit?

Thanks! Any info, thoughts would be appreciated.
