    the crosstrek's oil changes are the best. the fact that the filter drains to the pan. such a nice design.

    In other news, after I changed my oil I moved my truck a few feet forward and I heard a loud pop. I thought I left a container under the filter funnel, but it turned out my front bumper had shifted and is tilting forward to much the ends of the bumper are pushing on my fenders. The noise I heard was my passenger side fender popping out after fighting the good fight with my bumper.

    I have to figure out what to do. The bumper is spaced out with washers, just like my last bumper. This is to keep the hoops off the fenders, and help level the bumper.

    I could buy these and get some longer bolts welded on like @HolyHandGrenade did. Either way, there's always something! Here's another link for reference LINK

    To fix you fender issue is simple, I've done a few of them. Ream out the holes on the front bumper to make them slotted, weld in another plate to reinforce it. Good chance to upgrade the factory tin plates that hold it on too.

    The bumper is slotted vertically a bit, but the fender washers gapping the bumper out crumpled I think.

    Also, Went on another trip to this past weekend! It was a surprise trip to Lake Placid for Kaila's Birthday!

    Stayed right downtown in a little cabin apartment, saw the high falls gorge, had a spa day and the best meal of my life.
