Interior map, mirror visor, and rear dome lights.

Looking for recommendations to change the inside lighting from the soft white (yellow) to a brighter daylight (bluish). The 2 map lights up front, the 2 mirror lights on each visor on each side and the rear dome light over the rear seat. Also, possibly on the exterior.....the reverse lights and the license plate lights. 2017 TRD OFF ROAD double cab.

Did you ever end up doing this? I ordered some for the dome light, map lights, & vanity lights from HIDKitPros.com. They sell a kit they put together specifically for our trucks (3rd gen). Vanity lights worked great, dome light would not fit, neither would the map lights. It’s like they were designed too big. I ended up doing some pretty heavy modifications with a Dremel to make them fit, but it was pretty irritating. Left a review on their website about it and got a phone call the next day. Super nice people, but but they claim they have replaced tons of bulbs in Tacoma’s without any problem whatsoever. I say there’s just no way, but they were pretty firm in their statements. Offered to return my money, but I’ve already made them fit. I had the same problem with my wife’s FJ with a completely different brand bulb, so I assumed it was a Toyota-specific issue.

 

I got mine from precisionled.com, fits all Tacomas from 2005 to present with no problem. I did interior only but they do carry the exterior bulbs as well.
