    @Blackout14,
    I just purchased my first kayak, do you know of an ‘app’ which holds wrecks/reefs? I would like to do my own searching for good fishing areas, I’m not into ‘spot burning’. I’ll be mainly fishing saltwater in the south Jersey area.

    Agreed, although I’m not far from Octarara reservoir. I’ll probably take the kayak there in late fall/winter.

    Copy that, I’m definitely looking for a partner to do some drum fishing in Del bay this spring.

    Thanks. Definitely been a roller coaster the last couple weeks. Really been having a shitty time since Christmas. I burnt my hand at work pretty bad and was down for about 3 weeks, then my dad passed 1 week after i was released to full duty. 2019 isn't what i had envisioned so far. It has allowed me the ability to do a lot of reflecting though. I refuse to get into a funk, so I'm going to stay positive and finish this year on a high note.

    As we all know, I'm very much against caps and swingouts. I WOULD use a tonneau cover but I don't like them too much either. That being said I do have a couple bed bars on mine. I got em for a good price from a friend and have ideas for them. Initially I had a plano case with my spare parts in it, but it was so heavy, the bottom of the plastic case started to bow down. I'm now making supports for it and also for my spare tire. I'm going to reuse to the OEM spare lifter jawn and keep my spare pulled up against the rack. The spare lifter jawn will be tucked up between the plano cases. I want it to be set a bit higher so that the spare can be pulled tight against the bottom of the rack. Currently my spare is free for the taking by any passersby since it's just sitting in my bed. So far it's still there. All the crossmembers will be bolted in rather than welded so that I can take it all apart and store it easier for those times I need to haul a bunch of shit. Once i get back into flipping houses, I'll be keeping the bed open without any racks. I set it up for me for wheeling. We aren't cool enough to be overlanders. We just bomb our trucks over big rocks and shit.
