Question/opinion time: I am going to be lifting my truck with fox 2.5’s and the question is should I keep the sway bar on? I have the sway bar relocation kit. I used to think that I would just remove the sway bar. The thing is sometimes my wife drives the truck and it also transports the little dude. So thoughts and opinions?

I tried both. When I had 650 coils on my truck with the hybrid bumper and steel ifs skid, the trick rocked way more than I liked for street driving so I put I back on after 2 days. I’ve since upgraded my coils to 14” 700 lbs and I don’t feet like I need it anymore. The only real benefit is more articulation off road. If your truck will spend 90% of its time as a commuter, I’d recommend to just keep it on. The benefits would be minimal, but the loss would be super noticeable.

Really though it’s one of those things where some people will be more sensitive to it not being there and others won’t notice one way or the other. I noticed, you might not.

Worst case: if you change your mind, it’s a 20 min job to pull it.

Leave it on. Not worth the risk. Can be removed easily at the trailhead if you need the articulation.

I took mine off with 650 springs but I’m the only one who drives my truck. In your case I would leave it on due to the kids and take it off before you going off-roading you have to remove the skid plates I believe to remove it, to much work before the trail

Does him being an access cab with the 4 cylinder change your the decision to keep the sway bar off? The front end is lighter VS a V6 Doublecab.
