MESO customs KC ultimate 3rd brake light gap

    2018 quicksand Tacoma TRD off-road
    For anyone that has installed the MESO Ultimate KC 3rd brake. After install did you have a 1 mm gap in between the 3rd brake light and the truck body? I did and sealed it using silicone.

    I would imagine that is so that it doesn't rub the paint off of the cab? I remember seeing something along those lines recently, but can't pinpoint if that was exactly it since I've been following for the 2nd Gen light. I'm sure @mesojdm can chime in.
