One more thing... I blame greed on our last recession. Simply greed. Think about it... Everyone from the lending companies to the builders, developers, and real estate agents were making money hand over fist. That’s why a house that sold for 350,000 turned into a 250,000 house overnight. It’s sad, but I hope that our country has learned some valuable lessons from that debacle.

None that have anything to do with politics or parties, independent people just playing the market and making predictions.

They are starting to talk about 10 year loans "because of the price" of vehicles. I got in the business late 80's, interest was 13% with exceptional credit and 5 years if the bank would allow it...most loans 4 years

Sorry but individual ideals play into every economist predictions..they may not care about a political party specifically but their ideology leans to the bull or bear market side.

True, same can be said about any person's decision about tons of things, but that's a whole other topic to discuss, but usually they are motivated by making money / profit and less about party views.

indeed the Housing Bubble caused by politicans thinking that everybody "deserved" a house loan and we saw how well that turned out...Government screws up every business they enter. Healthcare, education, railroad, post office. etc. etc. etc.

I think unfortunately so much of what we see and read is based on political stance at this point. It’s sad. Politics shouldn’t enrage people. Lawmakers are crooked on both sides no matter what happens. We gotta focus on our own lives and making them better and just keep politics as a side note.

Not just government to blame on that one, mortgage backed securities, created by wall street.

I love our country, I serve to defend it everyday, but it's definately in need of some help in it's current state. But that's for another thread. 2020 reveal in less than 24 hours.

Bill Clinton started the ball rolling by loosening the reigns on the money Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae and then Good ole' W just went full retard...hell I had many lenders calling to refi my house and pull out the equity to put in the market. Just did not seem like it made any sense to me at all...use borrowed money to invest on the hope that it would not decline..no thank you

But for some arbitrary reason, Premium Package only comes in the blue color? That's not quality control or production costs, it seems unreasonable IMO?

That is not actually the case. Toyota's website only shows what they have slated to build in the next couple months or so. It is an inventory check wedsite not a true build it anyway you want it website.

Same here, I'm a Tacoma nerd / addict (these trucks and dirt bikes are my money vices), just curious to see if my predictions and those of people's here come to fruition, I'm willing to bet a coke we aren't getting a new powertrain as so many here seem to think.

The real help we need starts by people who learn to love and respect each other again and stop letting politics ruin their lives and relationships by hateful words and gestures. But yep, 11:00 EST I’m live-streaming!

I would like to see the 8 speed, but very highly doubt it. The Highlander loaner I had for a day drove so much better. Same engine, 8 speed transmission. Just remarkable how different it is.

On one hand a short recession would really help my 401k grow. Sounds counter intuitive, but I'd like cheaper shares considering I have ~30 years. On the other hand, I get sad when my investments go down in the short term.
