Hi, I'm a new proud owner of a 2018 Tacoma SR, and a new member of this forum.
I want to change the stock wheels on my truck, ONLY the wheels not the tires.
Specs on the tires now: 245/75R16 109S, RIM: 7Jx16ET25 PCD: 6x139.7

I'm looking at the TRD PRO PT758-35170-02, I know nothing about this, but want to make sure they fit my truck and that the tires I have now fit these wheels.

I read that the OFFSET for the TRD is 13, and the tires that go with them are 265/70R16, both different from the stock wheels/tires.

Will they work with my tires, and fit my truck without any problems?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    JS

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

As long as it is a 16” Toyota 6 lug wheel, you won’t have any issues. Your stock tires are narrower than the TRD tires and the same height, so there shouldn’t be any issue.

Sorry about my ignorance, but 265 and 245, and 70 and 75 differences don't mean anything as long as the size 16 and the lugs match?

Buy new tires, the 245's that come with your truck are narrow and will look "car-like" on the TRD rims.

Sell your stock 16's if you have to, and buy a decent set of 265/70R16 or 265/75R16 if you want a bit bigger without issues.

Any rim you buy will look terrible with the 245's that come with SR's unless its 6" wide.

265 and 245 are the width of the tire. 265 is ~1 inch wider. The SR comes with 245, the TRD trucks come with 265. Either will fit just fine. The second number (70, 75) is the sidewall height and is a percentage of the first number. So a 245/75 is the same diameter as a 265/70, only the 265 is wider.

There is a handy tire size calculator on the site to help you better understand how the different numbers affect the overall size of the tire. If you want to play around with it, you can find it here.

Thanks for your help, that table is awesome, thanks for that.
One more question, what about the OFFSET, how much room do I have with that?

Now that I don’t know. I haven’t bought aftermarket wheels for mine, so I haven’t really looked into it.

If you are buying Toyota factory wheels, you shouldn’t have any issue with offset. Toyota made them to fit these trucks.

When offset comes into play is when you are going aftermarket, because those wheels are made to fit multiple vehicles or change the look of the vehicle.
