Impossible to find a 6 foot bed on a new Tacoma!?

This is part question, part rant... Why is it so damn hard to find a new-ish Tacoma with a 6 foot bed. Easily 90% of the trucks for sale are a Double Cab with a 5 foot bed.

All I want is a newer version of my 2008 Access Cab!

Where are people finding good selection of Tacomas for sale these days?! Located in Austin, Texas, but willing to drive or fly to pick one up...

    Thoughts?

All AC are 6 foot. Are you looking for a DC? Sorry, you post has me somewhat confused.

DCLB are far more rare though.

Toyota knows their audience. 90% of buyers are looking for a lifestyle sedan.

Looks like there isn't nearly as many of them down there for some reason. Around here theres tons of them. I typically use autotrader if I'm looking for something

Are they? In my area it seems to be 50/50 or even 60/40 in terms of DCLB vs DCSB (not including Limiteds or Pros).

In my area they are. Probably 80/20 or 70/30 in favor of SB. So much so when I see a LB it actually catches me off guard.

Tied several boat anchors to my truck to destroy MPG.
Got me pegged! I just wanted a family car with higher clearance that I could drop 20 grand of embellishments on. Its all about the Tacoma World Lifestyle, baby.

The only time I ever see long beds in SoCal is when it's on an access cab. DCLB's are like unicorns here

Guess I’m driving around in a tan unicorn haha. It was the only one in 5 dealer ships when I was shopping back in November.

I want an Access Cab with a 6 foot bed. The salesmen at the dealer all look shocked when I ask for an Access Cab though. They tell me they are nearly impossible to find, but they have 1,000 Double cabs with a 5 foot bed.

I am always loading motorcycles in the back, so I need the 6 foot bed WITH the bed extender.

I wanted a dclb off road with tech and premium. Bought it from a dealership in CO and had it shipped to NC..

Worth every bit of the little hassle it was to get. Long bed is the way to go!

That's literally the exact truck I wanted, but I was in a super bad time crunch because my car was totaled in a hit and run. Ended up getting my secondary choice though so I'm stoked.
