I refer to the heated seat on my wife's side of the truck as the taco warmer. Haha

I’m gonna regret that shit in the morning....

 

So ain't this a crock! When I installed my cb a year or so ago, I skimped a little and picked up a chrome plated antenna spring at the local truck stop. Well it started to get a little rusty over the past year. So about a month ago I finally sprang for the firestik stainless steel one. Only been on the truck a few weeks and it already looks worse than the one I replaced

 

I think I have the firestik spring and it’s fine but my mount and the t-nuts are super rusty...not sure if there is something that is causing that

 

wow. I bought a cheap one off Amazon for like 8 bucks. Still not rusty. Thats ridiculous though

 

That’s weird mine has been on for like 2-3 years and no issues?

 

Those t-nuts will surely rust but they have stainless steel ones too.

 

I’ll look, they are those black ones from Amazon so cheap enough...just weird that they trusted so fast

Wish the taco had cooled seats for sure. As for heated seats, they are pretty sweet especially for my back. As for the infertility, my vasectomy took care of that! Plus, I’m too old to be having kids anyway, lol.

Edit: meant vasectomy, not an actual device for valor...my apologies for my dumb jarhead joke.

 

Morning all...

 

Our pilot had the dual driver positions. She had key#1, and when she unlocked the car with it, it would automatically move the seat to her position. When I used key#2 to unlock the car, it would move the seat to my spot. Was really nice.

AC in the seat is a dream come true. Wish all cars had it at least as an option.

Note to self: Never ride with Dave.
