So I worked for a long time in the aftermarket performance world and then moved on to the wonderful world of dealership employee. The aftermarket world was always where my heart was, but unfortunately it doesn't pay what you would hope. So I moved on. A very good friend of mine has had this truck in his family for a very long time. When he started talking about wanting to switch it up and build something fun I jumped at the opportunity to help him. So here it is. The truck started life as a 4.3l work truck. Then had a 400 ci small block and a turbo 350 trans and now is having a 6.0 ls and t56 trans out of a 2005 Gto installed.

Found rust in a cylinder so off to the machine shop. Motor is now bored .30 over, has Weisco dished pistons, Texas speed tsunami cam package, valve springs and rocker trunnions. Lsx 102mm intake.
