    Stickers gone.
At the dealer I go to they install ToyTec lifts with new front springs and a rear spring etc. Will this drastically change my ride quality. I like the way my truck rides as is and don't want it to be stiffer. Any lift suggestions will be appreciated.

    Same crap everyone else got
I'm willing to bet they will charge more for the install and also the lift itself. You could buy the same lift online and install yourself or take it to a shop and i'm sure it would be much cheaper.

I went to Toyota about getting my suspension done. It’s 3500 and some change . Ah and that’s oem. So I went around the corner the 4 wheel parts shop and they quoted me 4200.00 for a stage 1 icon lift. I got the icon would of loved to have gotten the stage 3 but this is a work truck and play truck. I don’t do anything real crazy. I mainly like to get to those hard to reach lakes up in the high sierras and do some fishing.

Need more information on what lift they are installing? There is different spring rates for coils. is it full leaf pack? or add-a-leaf? What shocks? Can't answer your questions, unless you find out what set-up they are installing. As for dealer install. My dealer match price for install, of what off road shop quoted me.

Unless you are worried about warranty issues, there's no real benefit to going to the dealer other than a nice waiting room with free coffee. I won't go to the dealer for anything. And when I do, I always leave asking myself what I was thinking.

The dealer is going to hose you. I’d avoid them at any and all costs.
