New 19 OR and the throttle leaves more to be desired. I don’t really have any issues with the shifting or “hunting”. Truck seems to have enough power I just have to mash on the gas to get there. Would a pedal commander be better than the tune? I’m not looking to void my warranty so I think a tune is out. Thoughts?

Won’t this void a warranty though? Not trying to void it on a brand new truck

There’s no way they can detect it

How so? It’s flashing the ECU and a dealership can tell how many times it’s been flashed right?

If they ask all you have to say is you disconnected your battery for [insert random BS reason here] and they won’t know any better. But OVTune will blow anything else clear out of the water. And if you’re that paranoid you can flash back to the stock tune at any time

I had the same complaint with my 19 OR. I had the same reservation about voiding the warranty so I picked up the pedal commander. It installs in a few minutes and can be removed just as easy. I have to say that I am happy with the purchase. It doesn't feel like the same truck and takes away that dead feel when I take off from a start or even passing. Just my experience from the past week and would recommend it.

How’s the gas mileage with it? I assume a little lower if your punching it?

I haven't checked mileage yet but ya its a lot easier to punch so mileage will suffer but the driving experience is much better. Smiles per gallon!

Nope. Mine went up since it was no longer lugging in low RPM hell.

Its wasnt made for power its made to make the truck drive like it should have off the lot! Smoother shifting ,shift dance from 4-5-6 -6-5-4 is cleaned up , it does improve mileage on all stock trucks! There will be custom tunes coming out soon to help us guys with heavily modded trucks , 33" or bigger tires, re geared , lifted , heavy armor. You wont be disappointed! There is some HP and Torque improvements but thats on 91 octane or better.

Another vote for OVTune here... also, in the grand scheme of things it’s better for your engine. The stock tune actually allows for excessive detonation and... actually let me just post this picture to better explain it to you lol

Once again, this will not void your warranty. More power, more mpg, more reliability, more consistency.... you can’t really lose here (unless you settle for Pedal Commander or SSP haha)
