I searched and couldn't find any info on it. I know how Toyota people like to read this stuff.

Have a good day, and be more optimistic haha

Anything to make themselves feel better about themselves I guess. I have yet to figure out why there is so much time devoted to whining about other brand trucks and patting of the collective backs for buying tacomas on this forum.

And why is this important? Our trucks have had a rear diff recall that could have caused damage and a brake master cylinder recall that could have internal brake fluid leak. :crapstorm:
Oh, and the thrid brake light leak.

    Absolutely

but in 3 years, my Tacoma will be still be rattle and squeak free and hold it's value

In 5 years, Tacoma still drives like new and the Ford's steering wheel at the top has started to deteriorate and you need to buy a cover for it. Some of the interior panels are no longer flush if they weren't already, there's also a rattle you can't find.

In 10 years, Tacoma still driving strong and holding value.

    generalizing a bit...

We dont know this yet. Dont get me wrong, I love my truck, but I dont see the need to point out the flaws or recalls of other trucks as if Tacoma hasn't had any.

nada....maybe a license plate one day & BA bumpers
so Ford is now adopting the Apple manufacturing process:
    1. half way build the product
    2. sell it it to end users (aka guinea pigs) at full price as if it it a finished product
    3. recall & fix what should have been properly engineered/tested prior to bringing to market
    4. steal precious/priceless time from end user (you don't get comp'd for your time wasted when dealing with warranty repairs)
& access/use of the truck they paid for/are paying for.

I would have almost considered a ranger in the future, as they were very reliable & potent when last sold here in america
but after this news, It makes me wonder what Ford is doing
