New England B.S. Thread

I bought myself a present. '02 Grizzly 660. Full aluminum skid plates, warn winch, new-ish ITP tires. The second seat will go since I have no use for it and it's annoying to try to see around. First thing I did was push back a few snow banks with it. I think it'll do a great job clearing snow.

Going to test drive cars with the wife later today. Checking out the Compass and Rav4.

 

Well, today will be interesting...
Need to sneak off to a jobsite for an hour or so(chicopee, so close at least).
Need to pull the charger out of the driveway, gently. Stuck.
Mud season. Fun.
On that note, need to get some quotes to do SOMETHING with the driveway, gravel, concrete, asphalt, something.

My truck has been mysteriously accumulating mileage...

I just redid my driveway. It was a single lane, paved and I used to park on the grass next to it. It got muddy at times. I got a small excavator, dug it out just under 1’ and filled it with crushed concrete. It’s usually cheaper than processed gravel but locks in very tight. It’s cheaper because it doesn’t meet any gradation criteria, it’s just pulverized concrete, but it’s very suitable for driveway fill. I did mine in under a day and it was cold as balls and we spent a couple hours trying to get the quick couple to work to swap buckets on the excavator.

 

That looks like a lot of steel for a current high bid of $5k! All I’m looking for now is a rear bumper with swing out capability.

UMASS is ranked #2 in the country. Season record is 21 wins, 5 losses.

Awesome! Sounds like a great night, I know the hotel is supposed to be nice. I’m going next Friday to the hockey game. I was there years ago when Quick was in net, they’ve always had potential.

All the Boston programs are subpar this year. UMass meanwhile is having the best year in recent times. It’s the typical Midwest teams at the top of the ranks along with UMass.
