If you got the alternator from Toyota & your electrical system is stock everything should be fine. The big 3 is really just for vehicles with aftermarket devices that draw large current. (Winches, amplifiers, light bars, etc).

I put the after market wire under the original wire so i could put the boot back on to make it look clean.

Went to audio evolution in Charleston south carolina,One hour drive from me..The installer is name Chris Ott...Well know in the industry and award winning installer and a cool and nice guy...He started tuning the twk 88 for me..He spent hours..He came and got me and said there is one problem i need you to fix before i can dial the tuning the rest of the way..He showed me..I did not put enough sound deaden on the front doors..I did put some but he said it would sound so much better if i did the whole doors inside and outer door skins and for me to bring it back and the rest of the tuning would be for free...Here is some pics....Should i do the whole door and cover the access panel and any holes in the door..He said all the sound is bouncing around in the door and it's going to sound horrible if he finished tuning it.

The holes allow a lot of road noise to come in which makes the system harder to hear and they also distort the speaker quality. I would deaden the hell out of the doors because it made a huge difference in my truck. If you look at my thread you'll see that when I first deadened the doors I left the big hole open & eventually when I came back to plug the big hole using MLV I did actually notice a huge difference.

Thank you all! I'm going to seal the doors best as i can..I think it will sound great!!I have the mobile solutions foam rings already,I think i need to cut them back maybe 1inch..Is there a way to do a clean cut?Make it even?Would a hot razor do it??

I use a brand new razor after I wipe off the shipping oil to cut the foam rings. It's not 100% even on mine & I think it doesn't have full contact with the door panel, but it still sounds very good.

I was looking at the compustar remote start/alarm..I'm not sure if i need the idatalink module or which one i need..It looked like a few to choose from....I wanted something that would cut down install time and use a harness for toyota. Not sure which one to pick.

I drilled two holes in the back of the sub box and screwed one of them into the OEM 6mm spot on the back wall & the other to a rivet nut. You can also use rivet nuts into the cross beam on the rear wall and go through the box there, but probably need to seal the bolt hole somehow.

I would like to drill the holes like you did and use the OEM Holes..Was there a trick in doing that to measure it so i get it right lol! The amp rack i think ill use the rivet nuts..They should be here by mail tomorrow...The sub box is where i need to be on point.
