I just bought my fifth Tacoma, the last one, 2004, four cylinder, five speed went to 236K. I had gauges on the 2004 , oil, water, volts, they were great to have. I want to put the same three gauges on the '18. Anyone out there install gauges on the dash board and how or else where. I was going to put them on the post but then they would get in the way of the air bag deployment. Ideas welcomed.

Welcome! Haven't done any guages, but now that you've introduced yourself search the forums/Google and if nothing pops up start a thread for it. People here are very helpful if you have done a little legwork first to try and find answers before you post.

Voltmeter is easy, just tap into any keyed hot circuit. Water? Oil what?

You could possibly use a bluetooth OBD reader and display that information to a mounted tablet such as a mini iPad or similar.
