I'm selling my 2017 silver sky metallic Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4 DCSB with 43,000 miles. Has tech and premium package, safety package, BFGoodrich KO2s and matte black TRD alloy wheels, Pro grille, hard tonneau cover (was $800 new), windows tinted, badges painted matte black, TRD Off road hood decal, LED headlights, LED fog lights, all interior lights are LED, just installed a new battery and cabin air filter. Very well maintained, always garaged, always hand washed, non smoker. Sticker was close to $40,000. Asking $31,000 (make offer).

$31,500 is the high end of KBB private party when I entered all the info in, and I thought my truck justified it, but like I said, I am open to offers.

Yea I saw that I was thinking on the other side of KBB. I am just putting out feelers at this point and just trying to see what everyone is open to.

it don't matter to me private or not CA charges tax on private sale all the same... so it really don't matter in this state. But as far as prices go I've seen a spectrum of prices in the last month or so that I've been keeping an eye for. You said you wanted to get feelers and I gave you my opinion no need to be rude about it just trying to give you real world observations made in the last few weeks I've been browsing.

If it's not for you, then move along. Some people when they buy a used vehicle would rather buy one closer to factory than have a bunch of mods. It depends on the person. And some of the mods can end up being headaches if they weren't installed right or if they break. Of course CA has private taxes, I bet they tax you even if you don't buy the vehicle. Like a test drive tax. There's lots of benefits to buying private in AZ: no sales tax, no add ons, no pressure, none of the usual car dealer tricks.

Also, the people selling them for cheaper probably aren't willing to negotiate much, so are they really cheaper than mine?

Haha. No kidding ca is a runaway train. She is out of control. But again the advantage is only for those who live in az I can’t buy it and register it in ca without paying used car tax upon registration. Again good luck with the sale it’s a clean looking taco. You welcome for the bump;)
