    Hey all,

When I bought my '08 SR5 access cab Tacoma, the previous owner had replaced the OEM head unit with a new Bluetooth one and also gave me the OEM unit.

Now I'm thinking about putting the OEM unit back in, but only if it's a 6- or multiple-disc unit. I can't seem to find any information on the part number for a 6 disc unit.

The one I have says "Toyota A51839" on the front, under the FM1/FM2 buttons. The model no. is 86120-04141. I looked these up, but can't find any conclusive results.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I would assume it's a single disk if it doesnt specify "6 disc" or "disc changer" or something to that effect on the faceplate.

The 6 disc units usually had a "LOAD" button that you had to push first then the display would tell you when to install the disc. The owner's manual covers all the different audio units for the specific model with pics of face plates. The single disc were more reliable. the multi disc malfunctioned more often, mostly due to dirt..
