As an Aussie living with emus commonly around my area, they can be rather aggressive but I'd rather emus than bears any day.

You mean your "the other fun ride that shall not be named" (Jeep)? Dude I would give my left nut for that FJ! It is a mean looking machine.

EDIT: Wait, is that a land cruiser or FJ? I am too drunk to tell the difference right now

You guys missed out. At least the first part. We were the second group into the "trail" and that fresh powder was a blast. But if I got the story right, a group from the previous night got stuck about 5 miles out from the bar. After they got out (with the help of a few well built buggies), it turned into a clusterfuck. One group in particular blocked the way for upwards of three hours. But the fresh powder in the morning was so worth it.

Since 80 and surrounding freeways were closed, so we end up staying in Boomtown last night. This morning we decided to try new route instead of waiting for 50 or 80 to open up. @Don5352 and I were trying to come up with different routes, but he suggested we try to 395 to 36...boy oh boy...it was an awesome drive! One of the best and most scenic drives I took and loved it! I would highly recommend taking that road during winter/snow time.

We had a similar situation with a Jeep guy this weekend. He was stuck on a trail with tracks that we already made for him. He was sitting on a frame and still had over 20 psi in his tires. He had no tire pressure guage or tool to let the air out. He had no recovery gear what so ever, except shovel. He was on a trail by himself(and his wife as a co-pilot) and was shoving pike cones and tree branches under the tires and hoping to get out. His excuse was that he was there last weekend and didn't any recovery. So...go figure

Anyone’s tires seem to work better than the rest? My skinny ST. Maxxs let me down a bit this weekend so I might be looking to replace them this summer. I was with some Rzrs and crawlers on 40s so I didnt have anyone to compare with, but I ran down to 10psi and still had issues with traction.
