Decal recommendations?

I purchased the faux-pro Tail lights, and while I am satisfied with the quality of the product that I received.

I don't like how the black tail lights look paired with the Blazing blue pearl's white "TRD OFF ROAD" decals on the rear bed. It looks really weird.

The chrome badges really stand out now too.

I am looking to get some Black decals, but I don't know what to buy and what to avoid (poor quality).

The prices on eBay and Amazon are so cheap. When I see stuff this cheap especially on Ebay, I get nervous about the quality. I am willing to pay more if the decals will prove to be durable.

any recommendations here?



Also, what are the best options for a Black emplem overlay? The kits offered on Amazon are $140+. I have a few cans of plastidip sitting around. Is plastidip the best option here?

@CBoy808 just did a matte black for me with the mountain, turned out perfect on my red truck. I don’t have a pic yet as it’s rained ever since I put it on. He can make whatever you can think of.

Ford Ranger tail lights are what you want.

 

I still haven't seen a US model in person yet.

 

From the time we started talking about what I wanted, approving the design, paying and shipping was no more than 2 weeks but I had a slight delay paying because of getting PayPal set back up. He’s quick and you get what you want.

 

Do not by overlays! They are selling Tacoma black badges on eBay with adhesive for like $45 or cheaper. Overlays shouldn’t need to be an option anymore.

 

I got a TRD Pro style sport rear bed decal.
I was looking for one for a couple of months,
Didn't help that no one on TW made one with the correct pattern.
Especially the part closes to the "TRD".

Ended up finding a guy on ebay, from Ukraine, that did it for $45.
It has already been a year, and many power washes, and has held up very well.



Also, just plastidip your badges. Seems to hold up quite well.

 

Take the vinyl off. Cleaner look. Seriously thought, i wanted to take mine off and just replace it with a mate all black TRD 4x4 off road logo but going to just go without a logo for a while. Really liking how clean the truck looks.

 

I put the emblem overlays on mine rather than removing. I think with the white truck, the black adds a little bit of dimension. The emblems are extremely over priced though for what they are. If I did it over again I’d probably attempt a plasti dip. Now to just get rid of the rest of the chrome. Still debating on the removal of the TRD sticker. The V6 emblem however is going to be removed ASAP. No idea why that’s even on the truck in the first place

That decal looks like something I am trying to get custom made. Does anyone else have a link or lead on who can make a custom TRD Offroad 4X4 decal using custom colors; I am leaning towards green camo and matte black combo, on my army green TRD OR DCLB.
