Sweet rig man. If you get a chance would you mind taking a close up of the leaf pack? Thanks

im such a PIA, any chance of somewhere I can see better what leafs you are sitting on, more the leaf ends. is that the HD Dakar leaf pack? Do you usually go out with more weight in the back, or is this how it sits when you go out with it. Mine will be used to camp mostly, around town some too but will not have as much weight, not much real 4X4 wheeling. I still have to add the weight of a RTT, gear, and rack.

    HD leaf pack; 6 + 2.

This setup is changing soon. Going to reinvert the shackle instead of the shackle flip. Dakars and everything else are staying the same. Hoping to get some 12" Kings with RR's too.

I go out on day trips (unloaded except for tools) and fully loaded. This probably doesn't help since this was before the HC bumper, but this was with a full sized spare, RTIC cooler, tools, gear, RTT, awning etc

Why are you getting rid of the shackle flip? Just curious.

Hoping to run these leaf packs for a while. Shackle flip makes them wear faster.

Gotcha. I’m on Dakar SD with no shackle flip. I’m looking at installing 14” shocks with a shackle flip. Does it make the pads wear faster or do they lose their springiness?

It’s black now I think so look at the bottom of the coil where it meets the shock (yellow area) you should see about a 1/8 of an inch difference (spacer)

Hey guys, figured it's right place for that...
So, I have this going on
    after installing a bumper with a swing-out.
I'm going to install ome add-a-leaf but that is going to take a little while, probably a few weeks (shipping and finding time) .
Now, I'm thinking about removing the swing-out for time being to remove some weight off the leafs. Hopefully it'll help with ride quality because at this moment it kinda feels like driving a lowered Civic... Also, not sure if keeping the weight on could (damage) the leads. Or did it already?

    Any opinions about that?

    Hello TW OME gurus,

I have combed many threads for months. I’ve learned a ton about lifting my Taco (and still have more to learn). Thanks to everyone with factual knowledge entertaining my questions! Given my budget and use of my truck I’ve narrowed my search to two lifts: Toytec Boss vs OME. There are opinions on which is best but I’m asking if anyone has run both and what the durability between the two are. My gut is that the OME will hold up longer and for more miles; given all factors remain constant.

My goal you may ask? -A daily driver with weekend trips into the mountains hoping never to touch asphalt. I am blessed to live close to many trails.

Looking good! How's it ride? Any plans to put weight up front (Bunmper or winch)?

I actually love the ride so far. Going to add a Victory bumper up front in a month or so.

    Not even one?? Fine...

On semi related note. Did anyone was ever able to find OME grease? Can't find it anywhere, and it didn't come with new bushings.
Or, if not OME, which grease do you use on your bushings?
