Hey guys, having a parking lot meet to kick off an online store I’m opening for my Truck Club. The parking lot is at my business in North Hollywood. Will be selling some merchandise, raffling off stereos, speakers, window tint, and some recovery gear. Will also be selling tacos, street dogs, and desserts. It's been a couple of months, plus I missed the last one - let's get this going.

 

Lets get the 818 together. There is so much to do in the area that we can meet up and just shoot the s#$t!

Gotta check with my wifey, but maybe I can meet at the dog park next Monday morning on Memorial Day (like 8-10am). Rigs and coffe, dogs and tacos at the dog park?

This was us at Overland Expo West 2019 last week, camping out at Coconino NF.


I'd be down to go ride mtb. There's a pump track at Sapwi Bike Park in Thousand Oaks with nearby trails. Tons of local trails to the north, south, east and west of 818. There're also a couple bike parks in Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead areas, if people are down for the trek.

 

I'm down to ride some trails, drinks some beers, have some coffee, eat some food, play some basketball, or just shoot some sh$t.

 

Always down for this. Anyone into mountain biking?

 

I just got into mountain biking in 2017 after learning how to snowboard in 2016 (them bike park ads from Snow Summit & Mammoth got me interested and friends from church & my paintball teammates got me motivated to try mountain biking).

I'd be down to ride some trails with a TacomaWorld crew, 818 or wherever. However, I'd prefer green to blue, maybe blue/black trails. I ain't no pro, and would like to continue mountain biking, along with living life, ...many more years! I don't want to die yet, nor turn into a bionic man to fix any broken bones.

Eventually, I'd like to get good enough to do this fairly local trail that runs parallel to the 405. It's the "Kenter Whoops Trail", an offshoot to the Kenter Trail.

I've tried a trail further north from it, the Canyonback Rdg. Trail. That's accessible from Mulholland Rd./Encino Hills Rd. and can connect to the Kenter Trail via a short run on a residential street.

 

If you guys are up for a drive and are into the overlanding/off roading stuff, there's this next weekend at Big Bear:

Up there, there're local mtb trails, the Snow Summit Bike Park and the Skypark bike park in Santa's Village not too far away from Big Bear.

If mtb isn't your thing, there's a big lake right there for some water activities or maybe some fishing. You can try hiking. There's plenty of off roading trails and places to shoot along those trails north of Big Bear Lake.

 

That looks dope amd yeah i like more xc stuff but wouldnt mind checking that trail out.

818 here in La Crescenta! I see lots of Tacos around here and Glendale on a daily basis, some badass ones also

 

Oh snap I used to live in la Crescenta. Spent 25 years there and we just moved last year.
