    Hey all,

I am considering a Gen 3 Tacoma and notice one feature that is not present on my Gen 2 (05 Access Cab 2wd Pre-Runner) that I am sorely going to miss AND will likely spend a good part of my waking life trying to find a fix (easier the better) for??

The assist hand grip on the driver's side is missing! Toyota put the one in for the passenger side but not the driver side? The reason for the omission is unknown - but a fix would be invaluable!

Sorry I don't have a picture - but the part in mind is a hand grab/grip that's located on the column a couple inches to the left of visor - used to hold onto to assist in pulling yourself up or out of vehicle. I don't really need to have it but would miss not having it.

Not sure if there is anyone else that would be bothered by not having this - but if anyone can think of a way to fix it - that awesome. Thanks

Thanks for the info Vbpiper! I hadn't seen any threads and wasn't even sure what to call the damn thing :) While I haven't found an answer to my dilemma . . . I will continue to search

The reason it's not there anymore is it makes blind spots at the A pillar.

I would rather be blind than not have that driver grab handle:fistbump:

Lol I had to duck to get in my Tacoma. Definitely didn't need a handle to get in. My new Tundra is good because I just slide in level, no duck or climb. I understand everyone is different though.
