It was made specifically for the woofer used... made by Mr. Marv. It’s a 10” compRT

How does it sound? I'm about to pull the trigger on something very similar from Mr. Marv... 10" Comp RT, too. Just debating on CX600.1 or CX300.1 for the amp.

Currently running just a ********* 4 channel, Powerbass 6x9 components up front, and Powerbass 6.5 coax speakers in the back. Hoping a well-powered 10" sub will be louder and hit harder the than the amped 6x9s.

It sounds really good and is exactly what I wanted. I went with the smaller cx300.1

The whole setup... amp+woofer+box. I love it, it doesn’t flex the roof lol but the family knows when I pull up to the driveway

Sorry, should have been more clear. What specific amp are you using? I'm trying to assess how much RMS power is best for the Comp RT.

Pioneer TS-SW2002 8” DVC sub in pioneer’s downfiring 8” box. This is not the pre-loaded setup, I started with that but the sub that comes in the pre-loaded box isn’t as good. I’ve since turned the sub around to fire forward. You could actually easily fit three, two on the passenger side cubby and one on the drivers side... I’m planning on adding one more later this year. Currently you can get the sub and box for about $115 on Amazon.

I’m running it with a Kenwood KAC-m3001 amp mounted in the underseat bin. The sub is wired to 4ohms so it should be getting 200w.

It’s not a door shaker but it definitely fills in the lows without being overpowering. I’m hoping adding the second sub will give me a bit more punch and power.

Contact a car audio shop near you and have one custom built for your truck !!!

I did just that for my 02 DC Pre Runner , I had local car audio shop build a custom subwoofer . It has (2) shallow mount 8" Pioneer subwoofers and it fits nicely behind the rear seat and it thumps hard and sounds clean

    Here's pics of it !!!!

Also added this Subwoofer volume control so I can easily adjust the subwoofer output !!

I bought the pre-loaded version that comes with an 8" SVC 4ohm "pioneer" branded subwoofer in a simple stamped steel basket.

    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-S...=gateway&sprefix=pioneer+ts-sw,aps,253&sr=8-3

It sounded ok, but I thought the DVC 8" might be an upgrade so for $65 I tried it. I replaced that pre-loaded sub with the Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8" DVC 2ohm sub.
    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-S...=gateway&sprefix=pioneer+ts-sw,aps,253&sr=8-1

For the enclosure by itself, the Pioneer UDSW200D:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JQTU4JI/ref=psdc_2230642011_t3_B01FR5HDZ2

It's $120 for the box and DVC sub, and $90 for the pre-loaded enclosure, and I think it's worth the extra $30 for the better sub.

I’m running a Sundown Audio 10” in a ********* box. 5-channel Alpine and tuned with the JL Audio Twk-88. I’m happy with it.

For a shallow mount 10" in a small/sealed enclosure, yes.
