    Hello all!

I've recently acquired my first 4x4 vehicle this past week. It's a brown 99' Tacoma Reg. Cab 4 cyl 4x4 with 155k miles. The truck does need some work, but for the price I got it for I decided why not. Plans are to replace or rebuild TC (input on this would be great, pro's v cons to either), maintenance items (fluids, timing, plugs, etc.) and then suspension work (leaning towards OME but open to suggestions) followed by flares or just new sheet metal for the rear fenders which have some rust above the wheel wells. I'm a newbie to most of this as I come from mainly mazda miata's haha. I'm located in Aurora, IL so if any of yall are also it would be cool to meet up and share rides/knowledge/help! Any and all advice is also appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I just installed ome on my buddies 99 4 cylinder. He has no winch or bumper and it still rides good. He didn't even increase tire size. I think it still looks good. In fact I went back to my original tire size too, I can still go everywhere I used to go with 32s!
