I just sold my street bike, planning ahead for the next 2 gruesome years of school. The wr450 is plated and around here that's good enough to go on and off road with. I don't know if I need another pass for the bike or the truck yet.

A valuable lesson here, OP - it’s just easier to say you’re from Missoula.

People have a different idea of what constitutes a long commute up here. Locals generally keep to their neighborhoods or within bicycle distance of work. The transplants drive in from Beaverton or Wilsonville because working far from home is the only life we (Californians) have ever known.

I live in Clark county. Our family 40 acre farm field with a small house from the 60s, and a 1400 square foot house from the early 90s was just shy of 10k in tax last year. Ten years ago it was less than $3500.
We missed the ball on getting it split into 10. yet even if we did, Clark county is nuts on building permit cost.

Ive seen my property taxes go up every year. A lot of things are changing in Clark, not always for the good. Wish I could afford some property out here but cant, the market is too high.
