I'm gonna be making a trip up to my local HF tomorrow to get some tools for my 3rd gen King 2.5 lift install this weekend. I have a standard 244 pc craftsman tool kit and 2 jack stands and a dewalt cordless drill. What tools should I be on the lookout for during this trip to make sure I'm not missing any tools for my lift? I know I need a good floor jack, so that will be my first item. Grease gun? C clamps or bearing press for the AALs? Bungies?

Ok. I'll pick one of those up. Will a standard 3 or 3.5 t floor jack give me enough lift to get everything in and out easily?

Balljoint press clamp worked well. recommend that. are you doing the UCA? if you, a nice pair of vice grips, maybe some pry tools.

Not that I'd buy either at HF, but I find ratchet wrenches and a torque wrench invaluable when doing suspension work.

The same shit everyone else has.
I’ve had good luck with HF impact sockets and breaker bars.

I keep both in my truck in place of the lug wrench.

I’ve broken several of their c-clamps by hand tightening. I wouldn’t use them to hold your leaf springs. Spend a few bucks and either get better clamps elsewhere or buy several of the biggest ones you can get at HF. They’re fine for holding things together that aren’t under load but it’s pretty scary when the cast chinesium fails catastrophically.

I have impact sockets, torque wrenches, and a few other misc hand tools from Tekton. Highly recommended, especially for the price

Truth. And you're right, the swivel head ratchet wrenches are the duck's nuts.

Buy the 6 tons and you'll be set. Check them out in store. Make sure the welds are good and all the feet are level.

Same here. Can get the breaker bar on sale for $10 . Seems like a no brainer to carry one in each of my vehicles.
A breaker bar can be invaluable if you have a flat on the side of the road.

The tekton/harbor freight standard duty pry bars suck, the harbor freight heavy duty pry bars are pretty solid though...

I had these and they sucked for anything needing a lot of prying... I have one that is bent 10 degree's out.

Actually these look pretty solid and cheaper than the harbor freight heavy duty ones.

When I replaced a stripped wheel stud last Fall the HF jack stand worked great. I not only used the Stand for safety but also slid the tire under there as well.

OK, it is what it is. I used some super coupons and picked up a few things this week.

The Braun LED light that everyone seems to love. $59.99 I picked up for $21.99

A very bright LED lantern for camping or power outages. 2100 lumens.

I also have been waiting for a while to upgrade my MIG welding cart. I have not seen it less than $169 but had a coupon for $132.

I got a few more things cheap with the super coupons on their site but these were the big ones.

That Braun LED light has so many uses for the DIYer, it's one of those "how did I get along without it" tool, but don't forget about his little brother Quantum:
