The first post covered it. I just picked up a used OEM one for 300. Seems like a lot of people buy the Tacoma’s with them and don’t want the tonneau. Haven’t installed it yet but seems like good quality. And any 3rd gen will fit your 19. Good luck

All depends on if you want or are looking for a soft or hard top. I choose to go with a hard tri fold undercover ultra flex. It’s a bit more than $500 but a great hard trifold cover and fits well.

How'd you get it for $550 brand new? The website lists starting MSRP at $1,039.

23CA7F99-62E9-4FE7-9C83-9CA4D318ED0F.jpg I was able to get the Bakflip MX4 for around $650(ish) from 4WP. For me it was worth paying a bit more for something that you’re keeping for years and years.

I have a basic soft tri-fold from TonnoPro on my Sport ~$250.00 that works for my needs. You can cut it, so not very secure, but here NH I do not have a need for security in the bed of my truck. Keeps the snow out well, very dry in the rain. Again, cheap, fits my needs, and has held up very well for ~2.5 years

    EDIT: https://www.tonnopro.com/soft-fold-bed-covers

PS - I do not work for TonnaPro, just letting know what I use on my Sport

They have sales ever so often where you get 15-20% off. Also giving them a call and haggling a bit works too. Often they’d rather have a sale than lose it. Nothing to lose by calling and asking!

I put a really cheap soft trigger fold on mine. It was like 2 something. I think it's gator brand. Just bought it as a placeholder and to keep my bed clean and dry until my cap gets on there.

Another vote for spending a little more on BakFlip.

And for the record, Sport, OR, SR5, etc....all the same bed, other than long or short options, of course.

How did you score that price?

It was a holiday special and they price matched. I can't remember exactly when though... (and a bit too lazy to look into it)

No worries I'm struggling to find one for under $772. Thanks though.

For what it's worth I would pay the little bit more for the Bakflip. I know it's over budget but it's not one you'll regret spending more on.

I'm just trying to convince myself to spend the money. I don't really haul anything besides the dirt bike every so often and rarely any passengers, not sure if its worth the investment. I actually researched covers for my Dad's new Raptor and pointed him towards the MX4 and have seen it up close, great cover.

Not having a cluttered back seat made it worthwhile for me! It's one of the most practical and one of the favorite "mods" I have done. It's nice to be able to keep tools and other items permanently in there instead of the back seat, plus when it is open you don't lose much space, almost like having a full bed. But it is a lot to drop... best of luck!

Thanks bud! Agreed, it will likely be my next mod, just might put it off for now. Gotta save before I seperate here soon from Active Duty.
