Had the past couple days off, and got a chance to install my new fab fours premium front bumper (full guard).

    Stock hub to fender:
    Front - 21"
    Rear - 22.75"

6733D987-7C4C-4D5B-92F9-B023E3090351.jpg Started in the evening and had it completely torn down, dremeled and drilled where needed, and started plasti dipping the gap areas mentioned in directions. Dipped the grille and badges while I was at it.
IMG_0419.jpg For the most part, the install was easy. I found a 4th bolt underneath while attaching the frame brackets (directions say 3), my brackets would sit properly until I removed it. I ended up having to call someone with small hands to install the bumper bolts, while I held the bumper up and into place on each side during final tightening. I initially fit it with wood shims, but bumper kept moving. Also, the supplied fog lights' plugs fit perfectly with factory harness , so no need for the included wiring kit for them. Haven't wired up the turn signals yet. Had to trim the fender lining as well, used heavy duty scissors and went fast.IMG_0422.jpg High Measured day after adding it on stock suspension
    Front: 20.25"
    Rear: 22.75"

Initial review is Im happy with it. Gave me the aggressive look I was hoping for (I don't mind the chin), and suspension is next so it doesn't look so out of place. The gaps between bumper and truck are more noticeable than the factory pics or other that I've seen show, I may try to adjust closer. Giving it a week or two while I order parts to let it settle for post weight fender heights.

How long did you run the stock suspension? Did it drive relatively normally? I’m currently getting one of these installed on my 3rd gen and concerned about the weight, how much did this one weigh? I’m seeing 185lbs but I can’t imagine it being that much.

I like that you don’t have to cut the bumper for this one but I just can’t deal when the chin. It reminds me of Jay leno’s Lol but hey If you like it that’s all that counts

I drove it for about a year before doing the bumper, then for about 4 months before I changed my suspension setup. On stock suspension, you will feel the 185lbs when you go over bumps, but otherwise it wasn’t too bad. I went with the eibach springs after debating ome’s, it stiffened the front a lot but still is soft over bumps. And yes, the cleft chin made me feel like I drove the truck that wore a helmet to school until i upgraded.

Hey any problems with the TSS sensor, by the way don't know if your Taco has the radar on the grill?
Please let me know I have the prerunner and the only thing I'm concerned is if I would loose the cruise control capabilities.

Mine seems to mess with the forward colission sensor every once in a while but it turns back on after a few miles of driving, cruise control has been unaffected.

I think the adaptive cruise control and lane departure assist is controlled by the device / box to the right of the rear view mirror.

Do you notice wind noise with yours on the highway?

Vibrations when coming to a stop?
