What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nice! I try to get fishing in when I can. In the winter I usually head down to Pueblo and fish the tailwaters there...great fun and not many folks go there. I fish a bunch in Rocky Mt National park and in Estes below the dam as well. I also try and wet the line just about anywhere that has water in it! I fish Deckers occasionally but it tends to get crowded. I fish Clear Creek along I-70 a ton just because it is easy access and believe it or not doesnt get too crowded.

How did you get rid of red stitching?

 

Dropped in a pop-n-lock (damn that bolt!), @CaliRaisedLed bed channel supports (easy peasy!) and an 8" amplified bazooka behind the passenger seat

 

The stitching is still there but this did cover the red stripes on the side that really diminish the red overall so you don’t notice as much

 

Yea, one person took there's all apart and set the leather in black dye just to get rid of the red stitching. Made inserts for the red plastic pieces and made a custom covering. Now they have a one off Pro shift knob. Wonder who that was.

 

Damn man that’s intense, unless I’m leaning forward I can’t see the stitching, but of course now I’ll see every time I get in the truck

 

It turned out awesome tho. @mesojdm custom shift knob. One of a kind to match his interior trim.

Nice safe but for me the best safe for a car is one that is not visible from the outside. I wish our trucks had a larger center console to install something similar to what you have.

 

Too much wheel...too little tire sidewall. What a shame, it looks out of proportion.

You aren’t kidding, I’ve had both myself. The black is a beast, this is my first black truck I’ve owned. I have a black cbr 600 sport bike but that’s nothing compared to washing a truck lol.

 

What lights?

 

Nice wheels. I realize yours are dark gray but I think adding some black Gorilla lug nuts would make them look great.

 

2018 base sr. Painted skid plate put trd decals off of eBay then clear coated over it. The trd skid plate was 450 and didn’t want to spend that. So I spent 26 on decal and made my own trd version.

I agree. I've searched all over but because of the limited size and space of our taco, this was the only one I could find that allows me to easily put away my weapon as well as retrieve it. With dark interior, tinted windows, and how high it sits with the lift, the average car parked next to me or person walking by most likely won't notice it. I hope.
