2019 Non-JBL Stereo Wire Color Chart

    I have been trying to install my kicker key. However, I can't figure out what the stock stereo wire colors are and which speaker (+ or -) they connect with.

    This chart (attached) is what I've been trying to use:

    Google'd it a 100x. Hope this hasn't already been posted :crapstorm:

    nah. I couldn't figure out how it'd make this job any easier and I didn't want to wait for shipping. I'll post a pic of the final set-up for other people looking to run the Kicker Key.

    Does anyone know what metra harness part numbers match the Tacoma non jbl stereo speaker plugs.
    I am installing an lc7i and jlaudio and on the stock 2020 head unit and I need one make and one female harness to facilitate the new components without cutting the existing wiring.

    do you guys cut the original speaker wires or tap in?

    I am planning to cut and cap the wire leave the stock wire in case I need it in the future and add a line converter to run the RCA to the amp. then cap the stock wires in the door and connect the new speakers using the new 12 gauge that come from the AMP.

    If in the future, I want to take the audio system off (for whatever reason but I doubt it) I could re-connect the existing wire to some cheap speakers and have everything running stock again.

    Is this the standard practice?

    Do YOu know which wire is the remote? I'd like the AMP to turn on only when the radio is on rather than when the whole truck is on.

    I don’t remember but @destin_meeks probably will know. He will probably need to know what headunit and amps you’re installing or if stock is it jbl or non jbl headunit
