    @ysbohle - that was me...one of the best days at Crystal in years! Wish I could have popped the tent and skied Th but Crystal treats rooftop tents the same as RVs, which makes it tough.

    It's been a fun few weeks up there! I was there again today. I learned the hard way not to use the ebrake in the winter :frusty: I spent a good hour trying to figure out what was going on lol.

    Great looking truck btw!

    Just a heads up, there’s camping around Ranger Creek airport / Buck Creek campground just off 410 before you come to the road up to Crystal Mountain. I’ve not camped there in the snow but there’s options that are just off the highway that I’m told are open.

    The 70 road is sometimes a better bet (or any of the lower FS roads). Lower elevation and often times much warmer.

    Not from the region, but thought I’d share a couple of pics of our cousins the Diesel Hilux that I saw in Thailand. Lots of them everywhere. I also saw a lot of the new Ford Rangers with the Raptor style grille. Good looking rigs.

    Kind of wish we had a diesel option here.
