We just moved into our new house and luckily all of our neighbors seem pretty chill.
When I was living with my Dad in Las Vegas a couple of years ago while going to high school, we had a problematic neighbor. Their daughter was a year older than me and we were friends in middle school, and their son was a year younger and he was, to put it simply, a problem child. They had this crazy attack dog that's left me with some missing flesh, as well as most other kids in the neighborhood. Their Dad was only home on the weekends, and had a different sports car every couple of months. When asked about his dog, he stated it was to protect his property, which is silly coming from a rich suburban dad with a back yard as big as a porch, but whatever. Their son and his friends liked to pull pranks, so my Dad got his car egged, rear view windows would have weird shit smeared on them, they stole everyone in the neighborhood's gas caps and put them in the bed of my step-mother's Tundra. Never could figure out why they disliked us, considering if we had called the cops any time that dog had attacked us it would have been put down. Animal control asked us to please call the cops on that dog. Anyways, all this little shit turned into vandalism, naturally. Personally, I think the most psychopathic thing they ever did was voluntarily vomit on our front door and truck doors. Who does that? Anyways, I was learning to drive in my dad's 99' Buick senior year, and was under the impression that I'd be inheriting the car, so I was a little protective of it. Well, I came home from school one day to find the rear window of it bashed out. Which really got to me for whatever reason. My Dad was really worried at that point so he started looking into getting cameras. They apparently moved shortly after I moved out thank god. My Dad is super quiet, he's a disabled vet and just kinda goes to work and comes home to sleep, so it always made me so angry that he was their main target. And their parents never did a thing. Both of those kids got a free ride to college and brand new cars. Grrrrrrr.
