Show off your camping kitchen!

Hello TW people, Joe Pinel here. Hobbyist and builders, Show me your camping kitchens to help get the creativity flowing! Here is a few pictures from a build I did last weekend!

 

You guys amaze me. That is awesome work right there. That is a gene I did not receive. I'm stuck with a JetBoil, $29 Academy propane burner, 9-inch cast iron skillet, 16 quart Belgian enameled dutch oven and some plastic sporks out of ten year old MRE's. Actually, those are pretty nice plastic sporks, as sporks go...

 

Nothing wrong with keeping it simple!

 

Pretty sure “camping kitchen” is an oxymoron. A campfire or single burner stove is all the kitchen I need. Looks like a nice setup though

 

Your LC is one of my spirit animals. Did I see you by Higher Ground in Millcreek the other day?

 

These are pretty bad-ass. I am like the dude above, fire or MSR stove - I keep it simple stupid. Of course when car camping, I do get a ping of jealously when of these rigs pulls in and Gordon Ramsey steps out all cool AF.

 

After building five or six pretty fancy and complicated drawer/storage systems, I've become a big fan of keeping things simple.

 

Thanks. Not likely, while I did live in Millcreek (Canyon Rim to be exact) for 2 years, we moved to WA last summer and I haven't been in Utah since. If everything goes to plan I'll be back in zion in about a month for a few weeks of desert fun.

That's what I thought. But I saw a similar LC, and thought it might be you. Esp after I ran your HAM call...

It’s a side effect of glamping

 

“Overlanding” has created the gentrification of the camping world. I can’t wait for the minimalist trend to come back

 

I need to submit my change too. Just in time for me to move addresses again

 

I make no bones about it, whatever it takes to get my teen girls out of cel range and on an adventure is worth every penny spent.

 

Depends on how light I want my trip to be.

My FWC is basically an apartment that I can take offroad. Dometic 3 way fridge, two burner stove, 10 gallon fresh water tank with electric pump etc.


When I want a lighter/faster setup I built this slide that bolts to my bed.

 

This I can definitely support

 

Also, eating like this miles from nowhere doesn't suck.

 

I too am all about keeping things simple .

 

For me the best part of camping is the simplicity and being in nature. No refrigerators, sinks, or pizza ovens needed
