I completed a 2" lift but will need to change the bearing. I also plan to get a new set of wheels and tires. A question to all of you more experience owners, should I do the alignment with the current set of tires or wait until I get a new set? The current set still have plenty of life left.

Also, is there a reputable alignment shop you can point me to? I did a search and Michaels and Mule were mentioned. Any shop in Federal Way/Tacoma area or nearby?

    Thanks.

You should get an alignment now; and not wait for new tires. It’ll make your current tires last longer. I’m up north so I can’t recommend a shop. You can always try using Yelp - that app has never failed me yet.

After I did my 2” lift Les Schwab did the 4 wheel alignment for $89. I’d ask them about the tire situation.

When did Michael's become a shitshow? I bought my truck there (back in Dec 2010), and thought it was a decent place. Of course, they haven't touched my truck for 3 years now. I called for a quote on the 60k service 6 months ago or so, and said "fook that!" to their $900 bill. It's a fookin' Toyota, not a BMW!

No one said they were the cheapest shop around ... it’s Bellevue.

As I said before, they do quality work :) :)

We offer in house alignments at Mule now. We specialize in lifted vehicles, especially Toyota's ;)

Can you send me a quote on how much you charge for alignment on a 2008 Tacoma?
