From what I've been told in an email, shipping, depending on location, might be 5-7 days? Probably less. But remember you have to add build time on top of it.

From the last few Diamondback orders I've submitted, granted they weren't Tacomas, took about 2.5 weeks to build. The build times I've been providing have been based on that as well. Ship time will be based on location, but it comes from PA. Usually the eastern side of the country should be looking at 3-5 business days, a little less the closer you are to PA, a little more the further. West coast isn't too bad, but I would say a week, just over will be pretty spot on, usually 5-7. The only thing to keep in mind, if you're in a really rural area, it will slow things down.

@CttAznRanger asked a great question and I wanted to post it here so everyone was familiar. These ship by freight, so it's a little different process compared to normal ground shipping. Before delivering the cover, they are going to call the number listed on the order to schedule delivery. Similar to the cable company, you can schedule a date and rough time frame for delivery to ensure that you're there to sign for it. The next part is arguably the most important with shipping. While it doesn't happen often, shipping damage can happen. Please check out the cover before the driver leaves. If you receive a cover and it's damaged, please refuse the shipment. The driver will take it back with him and then please reach out to me. This will allow us on our end to file and get a replacement built and shipped to you. There can be circumstances where the driver won't let you inspect, or the box is in great shape and the cover say has some type of damage. In this case, please take some good photos, set it aside in the garage and reach out to me. We will still be able to take care of you. What we cannot do is accept the shipment, install it, and then in a week realize the bottom has a scratch on it. Honestly at that point, I really would not have any recourse. Again, this doesn't' happen often so I don't expect we'll have to deal with it, but if it does, I want to make sure we're able to take care of you.

If you have any questions on this though, just let me know.

    Hi Kyle,

Just dropped you a PM...hope im not too late! I would like to get an SE for the short bed with additional cleats and crossbin 8.

If anyone could help me out on this, we just got our 19 DCSB OR Taco 3 weeks ago but it came with the factory Tonneau cover. Do I need to do anything special on the install or just remove the Factory Tonneau?

    Thanks :)

Not at all! I'm still catching up on invoices, so the more the merrier!

Should just have to remove the cover and there should there should be small brackets above the rail system?

I don't have experience with removing the OEM bed cover but looking at a few videos you might have to remove a seal that's on top of the bed rails. And there looks like a bracket that was attached to the rails, or inside the side rails. Should be pretty simple to remove.

I would just watch a couple videos of people installing or removing their OEM covers to get it back to factory. Or wing it until something goes wrong, like I do :bananadead:

Congrats on your new cover bud!

I need this group buy to have a Dominoes style "pizza tracker" jobber now that order date has come and gone the unknown waiting period begins. Where is my cover? is it still a sheet of metal? is it being cut, welded, assembled, painted...ahhhh:annoyed:

As annoying as I am sure Diamondback would think this is, it would actually be cool to get even some generic build progress pictures. Even if it was an image showing the stage your cover is in.

Basically a group of members all put in X amount of money to buy a expensive item. Then one person from the group gets picked at random and gets the item that everyone else payed for.

Dealer gives a discount on items when a group of people want to buy it. Sometimes the more people that join in, the bigger the discount. It all depends on how the dealer or rep wants to handle it.
