Removing factory tonneau...ordered DbackHD. Predator tube steps off and will be purchasing sliders. DMM order tomorrow and looking at mobile transeiver setup. She’s coming along! Little over three weeks old and the modding begins!

I've been stocking up on minor mods here and there ever since I picked up my '19 a couple of months ago.

    - MESO map and dome lights, coin bucket, GassHole, Fuse Cover
    - OEM Side Steps
    - Front window tint
    - TacoWiede Radio Knobs
    - Weathertech mats
    - PikesTacoSister Sport Vinyl decals
    - OEM Bed Mat
    - mrproduxn license plate bracket
    - Subi Kicker Tweeters
    - OEM Rear Bed Step
    - TRD Pro Shift Knob
    - GE MegaLight Ultra headlights bulbs
    - OEM Mud Flaps
    - AJT Key Fob
    - Tailgate overlays
    - Homelink mirror from Bob's
    - Bed Extender

These were pretty much all from just browsing the for sale section. I was hoping these small mods would stave off any major mod itch...but nope! I'm now thinking it's time to look into aux lights, tires, bumpers, and more!

I’m curious, what are you guys running the ko2s? Mine are 265/70/17. The dealer set them to 29 but that seems too low?

37 for me seems just right on the street. 29 is a little too mushy.

I bit the bullet on Saturday and bought a 2019 Tacoma CCSB TRD Sport. It had predator nerf bars, mud flaps, & factory TRD Sport wheels that I didn’t like. I had the dealership order a set of 4 Runner wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler tires (265/70R17). I pulled the nerf bars and mud flaps off and returned them for a credit. Some kind of way the order got screwed up and the wheels didn’t come in. Had them pull a set of wheels & tires off a 2019 4Runner TRD Pro to put on my truck today. They took back the originals and gave me credit for those too. I think I made out ok. I’m not sure what pressure I should run on these Nitto tires. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    True story:

When my son was 12, he said he wanted to join the military after hearing all kinds of stories from my time in. So I tasked him with researching each service including jobs/MOS/AFSC/etc. after a couple of days, he came back and said he knew what he wanted to do.

I asked him what it was. To which he promptly said AF loadmaster. Of all the jobs I was puzzled as to why that one. I was also a little concerned because, like a tank driver, there isn’t exactly a booming job market for loadmasters in the civilian world.

In simple terms, he said he watched the AF video on the job and said he couldn’t think of anything more fun than kicking army guys out the back of the plane!

Still have a lot to do. Just removing the predator steps & mud flaps plus changing the wheels and tires made a big difference to me. Let the modding begin.

Replaced OEM tweeters with the Kickers. Not a life-changing mod, but I’d say there is a mild to moderate improvement in how the OEM head unit sounds.

The war on chrome continues! Swapped the chrome piece under the shift knob with the black one in the wife's Highlander. Should have came this way from the factory!

Matches the black door handles nicely!
