What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Already removed the sr5 badges. 49* day. Turned the truck broadside to the sunshine. Got my finger under the edge and it popped right off. Just did the plastidip on the tacoma and v6 badges. Scary but cool at the same time. Top four people thinking about it... It comes off much easier if you put it on thick.

 

I’m thinking of dipping badges today but I think ima just remove all badges and call it a day.

 

That's what I did. And with less badges it's easier to wax.

 

Finally got my icon lift and shoes

 

I used dental floss and removed all my badges as well. No more chrome

 

Blacked out chrome grill bezel and installed remote start.

 

INFARED DITCH LIGHTS!!!

 

That is what I like about this '19 SR with the utility package. Truck does not come with nary a badge on it. And it is blacked out already. Well I did get rid of the steel wheels and put black alloys on and added a black exhaust tip.

 

Looks great, man I love that color. So many good colors for 3rd gen!!

Stage 4 with the billet uca.

 

Are you going to have to wear special glasses/goggles to "see"?

 

Thank you for help, cleaned Garnish, played with gas cap, but also took wheel sensor off rear right and cleaned it, I know I had tensioned it a couple times when installing suspension. Found wires loose, actually went ahead and spliced in a couple more inches of wire, shrink wrapped it, and taped it. ABS warning went off immediately, then this morning jumped in it to go to hardware store, all warnings gone. Kind of proud of myself. Not sure what Toyota will say about my wiring....lol

 

I have to say I'm surprised at the number of times I see where somebody with a Mobtown product has a fitment issue like this. I don't mean that it is real often, but when a fitment issue with armor does come up it seems like Mobtown. Maybe it's simply because they sell more and therefore have exceptions? The great/quick/all hours customer service is always mentioned so that's great. I hope I don't need it when I get ready to install my Mobtown sliders.
