Gotcha, it's definitely a concern. We have a friend who almost killed herself recently on a cloverleaf. He mentions getting one a lot though, I don't like to say no, haha. That's a prime example of why our truck has mods and why my car well... looks like... that. lol

Little farther south. Newport News Shipbuilding. Plenty of tacos in the parking lots. I am sure someone can verify I'm not making anything up lol

I used go that route especially in the snow belt. You get something really nice and love it but hate putting all those miles on and getting it salty in the winters. My last car I tried to preserve was my 17 Civic Si. So I went out and got an old Mitsu Montero for the winters, some commuting and hauling kids and stuff. Then I finally sobered up and realized that owning 2 vehicles (3 actually, the wife's car too) gets expensive and the Civic sat in the garage looking pretty. Being practical, it would bug me having a car that sat around not being used all that much just to keep it looking nice. And for who? The next owner? So to me, it is one vehicle for now on and I don't care how many miles I put on it and the poor gas mileage I get in the Tacoma. A $1k car probably isn't safe anyway and will be costly to keep running. Enjoy the Tacoma and factor in the fact that the Tacoma has the highest resale value of any vehicle, period. Use it, enjoy it and look forward to getting a 4th gen down the road and do it allover again.
