    You can't buy cheap compressors. Either it's too weak to inflate large tires or will break after few uses.
    Viair line is good. I had a somewhat average compressor to inflate car tires but struggles to inflate large tires. Just buy a good unit and don't worry about it.

    I know this thread is a month old or so but anymore feedback on 12v VS 120V compressors? Granted i do have 120V on board. I thought it might be a better option??

    (Just started looking so don’t bash me for not doing more ‘searches’)

    Thanks for your valid input! It was supposed to have been a “?” Rather than a “.” Also, if you reviewed the thread as it seems you did ever so slightly just to throw out some criticism, you’d see that I bought that one. I hope your wallet size gets significantly smaller and you come to appreciate having an extra 65$. For some people 65$ is a decent amount of money. Thanks for your input, though!

    I don’t do the bashing, although, some people on here love to. I can not give any feedback on the 12v VS 120v, but I’m sure someone on here will. I do like the air compressor that I bought, the
    $98 Viair 88p Portable Compressor Kit (12V, 120 Psi, Forup to 33" Tires)
    Viair 88p. I’ve only used it a few times so far but seems to meet my needs.

    I spent years with a basic Viair before I saw the light. I'm rolling with an ARB twin mounted under the hood now, and will never go back. It was originally installed on my jeep and was one of the pieces of gear I "rescued" before selling that rig. Each tire takes about a minute to air up from 15 to 30 psi. Most of my total air up time is spent uncoiling/recoiling the dang air hose! It'll cost you more than most other options, but sometimes you CAN put a price on happiness.

    Yea idk.. it looks like junk.. and i don’t think that anything that can plug into cigarette lighter can draw anymore than 15amps (just a guess) and that’s not enough power IMHO.. i just started looking at compressors myself.. and the
    $98 viair 88p portable compressor kit (12V, 120 psi, forup to 33" tires)
    viair 88p looks like an affordable option for 33” tires over the one you posted above.. i think i may go with the 300p myself..
