Question. Will a wheelers 1.5 single AAL work with dakars? Or is the OME one the only option? I have the wheelers aal already and it would be super convenient to use rather than having to get rid of it.

Ok so after speaking to some subject matter experts, i'm actually going to wait on the bump stops and the u bilt flip kit. It seems that a lot of people are under the impression that it is highly unlikely I'll ever outperform my factory bump stops, and as well as this im only going to rarely go on a trail or through mud to play or go camping, I'm far from rock crawling and personally don't know I'll ever need to worry about the bottom of my u bolts.

So I am going with the ome hd package, my question is how will I know that the extended u bolts that come with it will fit my factory plate/ bump stops? IM assuming they send these vehicle specific to fit since I order the parts under my specific vehicle description?

They will fit because there the right size to go over your axle tube diameter. You might want to trim them off at the nuts to prevent the threads from getting damaged from any random road debri like squirrels and such.

Thanks @HeadStrong Off-Road for the hookup on the OME EL096R HD packs with energy bushings. Finally got them installed at the NOVA mod day! Ride great and no squeaks.

Nice video man. Funny stuff. Just an fyi make sure you torque the front and rear leafs bolts once they are resting with full weight of vehicle on them.

Finally got a chance to finish my spring install, much needed replacement of my old CS047R Dakar pack. I went ahead and made all the bushings greasable while I was in there to save any future headaches or squeeks:)

The shackle angle at ride height is just about perfect!

Thanks, I'm happy with them. My old Dakar's lasted 8 years or so, I'm hoping these will do the same :D

I have a 2.5 - 2.75 inch lift in the rear, should I add shims even if I feel no vibration?
If yes, I assume just go with 2.5 degree shims and hope it feels the same.

They squeak. Race parts make race noise.
