4Runner Trail wheels and Toyo Open Country ATII tires 265-70-17. Cosmetic stuff like Pro grille and OffRoad black bumper trim, vinyl delete on side, added hood graphic, OEM tube steps.
Love the truck. All is good. Cement DCLB Sport with premium.

Phone ringer volume in the truck is so low I almost can't hear it. Set to MAX on phone and vehicle settings. Is this just how it is or do your trucks have louder ringers?

Mine will blow your eardrums out if set to max. I have it almost all the way down to keep it reasonable.

Phone ring volume adjustment is in the phone app settings in entune. If that doesn’t work, go to your local Toyota

Has anyone else noticed you can't access the dial pad or even contacts when vehicle is moving? Thought mine was broke but then came to a stop and it switched from recent calls.

No volume issue on my 2018 with iPhone.
I’d drop by dealerand have them fix or replace.

Are you sure the phones Bluetooth volume is up? Or maybe there’s a setting for specificity ringing through Bluetooth on the phone?

Could be because the driver should be paying attention to the road..............

So all other options/excuses are eliminated, so Toyota doesn't become a deep pocket party to a 'my coffee was too hot' lawsuit.

If it allowed dialing etc it would be like using a handheld phone that numerous states have outlawed. Use Bluetooth or pay attention and drive.

Unlike you, I don't make smart ass comments to other members. My only point was that the recent calls tab allows you to make phone calls to anyone on there, yet one can't access the contacts tab to do the same thing.

If making a smart axx comment will save one life I consider it worthwhile.

Stop by your dealer...should only take 5 minutes to show you how to adjust ringer volume. Did you check the index in your owners manual? Just a thought; it might save a trip to the dealer.
