Seriously dude this is ridiculous. Fighting over how a flag was flown? Only your Americans could get so upset over which way it's mounted on a vehicle etc whether right or left side.

Meanwhile I need to see this shit? Wanna talk about ruining a flag or flying it wrong?[IMG]

Frankly I don't care much about how flags are flown. To me it's strangely nationalistic behavior.

I just find it funny the definition used basically makes any use not blown in the wind incorrect

Only time I fly an Italian flag is during the world Cup or when I'm at an f1 race lol
Only fly the Canadian on Canada day.

Seriously fighting over how op flew it on his truck when you have people burning your flag because they're so against your president? Or middle Eastern countries burning it because they want you dead? Yet fighting with this guy that he did it wrong when he's trying to show his patriotism acting like he attached it to his hitch down low and dragged it through mud? Give me a fuckin break man.

Sorry it felt that way for him. I thought you were just proud of your country and your service. Thank you from your friends from the north, we appreciate your service. Honestly, thank you for helping protect those who would harm us.

Really, it's just one guy who screwed up this thread and turned it from being a build thread to what we have now.

Im curious why your bed and front look a different color and the middle of the truck is shiny black?

Also, I read through a bunch of shit about a flag and didn't even get to see the picture... Lame. o_Oo_O

Last... Great looking truck!! Looks badass! Where's the build thread link?

Aftermarket fenders. He hasn't painted them yet. Not sure if they're dipped or not.

Buddy, never said I didn't like your flag, I stated I would rather see American flags being flown on cars driving through the streets of America than another country's. If Puerto Rico become a state, I guess you could fly your states flag, interesting discussion there. Anyhoo, if I lived in lets say France or (insert any country) I personally would not drive around flaunting the American flag.

    1. The flag isn't covering anything
    2. The flag is not hanging or stretched out LOOSELY or CARELESSLY. It is secured firmly to a staff and hanging from it therefore not matching the complete definition mentioned here, resulting in this definition being non-applicable.
    3. It isn't arranged in flowing lines or folds. It is naturally resting in position.

HOWEVER, I would like for you to consider that you are spending a lot of time expressing your freedom of speech to a man who fought for your right to do so, all the while he is just wanting to display his patriotism and love for his country. The hardest thing for me to accept as a service member is that I didn't only fight for the freedom's of patriotic individuals who love this country as I do, but also those who oppose their ability to be appreciative of those responsible for their freedom. I'm not insinuating that you fit either description, but just simply sharing the struggle of a fellow Tacoma owning Veteran.

God bless and I appreciate all the in-site that I receive for free via this site.

And the award for post best predicting the future goes to @siznarf

18 months later and after the OP hasn't logged on in well over a year and we're back to the flag debate.
