Anybody running these steps? I can’t find any reviews because I think they’re fairly new. I’m debating between getting these or Go Rhino runnning boards for my four-legged homie.

Are you talking about your dog? I think a solid running boards would be a better option. I've seen dogs' legs get twisted up in the step hole. Thankfully none have broken

Yup, I was referring to my dog. Thanks for the input! I’d hate for any body parts to get tangled and mangled up in the step hole. I’ve been leaning towards running boards, but I’m just being indecisive after thinking these Epyx step bars looked pretty snazzy.

I saw a set of Epyx on a Ram and they did look good.

I had a buddy of mine weld on a plate to the standard nfab steps for the back doors so her paws wouldn't slip through. Worked mint! Just had to clean them up and coat them in bed liner which closely matches the powder coat finish.

Could probably do something similar to those.

If you plan on doing any off-roading you could go with some sliders and the fill plate. @CaliRaisedLed builds a really nice set with a step plate that way you have the protection of real rock sliders too

They look pretty close to being about the same from step to ground. I have the Epyx, from looks alone the Epyx may sit slightly lower?

Had these switched them out for rci sliders. These things are snow catchers always a big build up of ice and snow all over them in the winter. They don’t hang that low and you live in Cali so you would be fine but I’d say a hard pass if you live where you get significant snow.

I live in the Chicago region and I agree they do collect snow, slush. But no problems kicking it off in a couple seconds. I love mine but the great thing is that there are many to choose from.

Yes, I’m in SoCal so that won’t be an issue. I just need to know which step is lower.

    Anybody else seen these side-by-side?
