That heart pounding moment you almost swamp your new truck on a trail but get out. I just experienced that. It feels so great to be alive. Lol

Pulled from my right eye this morning:

Metal, two pieces, tiny, starting to rust

can I run 33's without any lift?

    Cooper ST Maxx vs K02s?

Is it okay to run without a swaybar?

Can you still tow with a shackle flip?

do I need king suspension to offroad at rausch creek?

:eek:How the hell did you do that?! With all your safety precautions that (I think) you take, you should have been posting things like this:

No, your only job is to complain about the truck as a 3rd gen owner.

X2 - that's why I've got like 5 pairs of safety glasses in the shop within an arms reach. I got a hunk of plastic in my eye once while building a grill. Managed to flush it out but holy shit was that painful. Like being stabbed in the eye. :(

I was working on my trailer this weekend: welding, cutting, grinding, drilling. Used all safety googles, masks, everything.

My doc believes the tiny metal pieces just hung out on my eye lashes and just casually dropped into my eye. If was flung into the eye at high velocity, then it would’ve done more damage.

My Opthalmologist is on retainer. He’s a stud. Teased those fuckers from my cornea freehand in his office. No anesthetic, no shakes. He said he is more concerned about the rust that started to develop.

I know that feel - even with the safety glasses sometimes shit sneaks past...

Glad it was not too troublesome for you.

I have a question for winch owners.
Do you use any kind of a power disconnect with your winches?
I know there are done mechanical ones that you'd have to open the hood and switch it on/off, kinda like this one https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Bulldog-Winch/BDW20248.html

There is also a remote solenoid like this one, but I can't find specs for it

WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CQFVN8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_v.SACbVPVDTSP

Similar solenoids are rated up to 300 amp max, which is below if what most winches use, so not optimal solution.

I'm wondering if it would be OK to use one like this, which is rated 500 amp, and just have cables fabricated
