    I’m
Kinda on the budget to do my new suspension, wheels and tires for now. I wonder how rough the suspension would be if I’d go with 886 now and buy the bumper later .

For reference; I'm a 4 banger and have 885 coils on 5100s set at 0 notch. It still rides a bit stiff up front, but no winch in there either. It might've dropped 1/2" adding the bumper at most. The bumper weighs roughly 100lbs

Hey guys, in the market for a bumper or Atleast a hidden winch. What do you guys think of the new 5 piece bumper? How does it do with winching? I can see some people are having problems lining the bumper all up. But it is what it is. And positives besides the price. And negatives ?

Ugh now I'm torn. I was gonna get the bumper. But really dont like this 5 piece disign. I have a local all pro dealer near me and wouldn't have to pay shipping. Kind of thinking I might have to buy the real brand over the knock off one now :( anyone know why they went 5 piece?

Just got mine on. Took a total of 8 hours, still don’t have the lower valence aligned. Was a true pain in the ass

And that's why I'm kinda leaning away from this bumper. I dont patience to try and line all the sections. I'd much rather just line up the whole bumper once. But on the other hand for the price of an allpro bumper I can get this bumper and a winch. Just wont be as perdy.

From what I've gathered from my wheeling buddies who've gone to plate front bumpers, the word "easy" generally isn't said much when it comes to mounting them. My ebay bumper is still hitting my flares, eventually they'll self-clearance right off the truck :notsure: :drunk: :mudding:

Just chiming in... I see the bumper is now a 5 Piece bumper - has any assembled it to fit and seam welded it? If it's the same gauge of metal as the original 2- piece, I can see this work... of course you can fab up some gussets and really beef it up. Plus you're not add a whole lot of weight either with those additions....

For the price point, I think it is a solid bumper, but if I were to do it again I would spend the extra for an All-Pro. Overall, happy with the look, fitment not so much.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...
Cody. What issues did you encounter with fitment? Can you take a picture from the side, specifically the front of the fender flare? Would like to see fit and finish there.

Here is the issue I’m running into, popped out my fender flare so I’m just going to buy some bushwackers, but no matter how much muscle, I cannot get the lower valence aligned with the bumper holes. I left it until I have time to wallow out the holes with a drill

How long does it take to install ? Can’t you drill or enlarge holes just a bit to align properly?

What’s the actual weight of these bumpers?
